DRFT SZN.

Nope! Every player starts DRFT SZN at 0 SR. SZN Zero standings are archived and do not carry over. No matter where you finished last season, the ladder resets to zero for everyone when a new DRFT SZN begins, giving every player a fresh start and a level playing field on day one.

Your standings from previous SZNs will remain visible on the leaderboard, so your past accomplishments aren’t going anywhere! Your SR is simply starting fresh.

You earn SR by winning eligible GGL Primes tournaments and matches. Every eligible win earns you SR, and podium placements can award bonus SR on top of your wins.

While you’re below 50 SR, you cannot lose SR from a loss, making the first stretch of your climb risk-free. Once you reach 50 SR and enter the Minor League, losses can begin to count against your rating.

Not every tournament or event awards SR, so be sure to check the event details before competing!

Once you reach 50 SR, you’ll advance from the Primes League into the Minor League at Silver II. From there, the competition gets tougher, and your performance carries more weight. Losses will begin to count against your SR, making every match even more important as you climb the ranks.

Some tournaments may also be restricted by rank to maintain competitive integrity and create fair matchups between players of similar skill levels.

And don’t worry — moving up doesn’t mean you’ll lose access to everything else! We’ll continue to offer tournaments and events open to players across all ranks, alongside rank-specific competitive opportunities.

The Top 100 players ranked by SR when standings officially lock are eligible to move forward for consideration in the GGL DRFT.

For the current DRFT SZN, standings lock on January 29 at 11:59 PM PT. To be DRFT-eligible, players must:

• Finish within the Global Top 100
• Reach Silver II or above
• Be 16 years of age or older
• Remain eligible and in good standing under GGL Primes rules

Only eligible players who finish within the Global Top 100 will be presented to GGL’s celebrity-owned Major League teams for DRFT consideration.

Finishing in the Top 100 makes you eligible for the DRFT, but does not guarantee that you will be drafted.

No! DRFT SZN is open to all GGL Primes members, and you do not need Primes Premium to compete or climb the rankings.

SR is earned the same way for everyone. Primes Premium does not grant additional SR, boost your ranking, or provide any competitive advantage during DRFT SZN. Premium-only tournaments do not award SR.

Primes Premium instead provides access to additional perks, including free monthly Drops, Premium-only events, masterclasses, and other exclusive opportunities.

Your path to the GGL DRFT is not determined by your membership level.

No problem! You can join DRFT SZN at any time between September 24 and January 29 at 11:59 PM PT — you’ll just have less time to climb the leaderboard.

Players who join late still begin at 0 SR, just like everyone else. And because you cannot lose SR while below 50 SR, you can focus on building your rating as you work your way toward the Minor League.

The sooner you start, the more opportunities you’ll have to earn SR, but it’s never too late to jump in and compete!
