Skill Rating and Global Points

What is Skill Rating (SR)?

Skill Rating (SR) represents your overall skill level on Primes.

  • SR increases when you perform well in tournaments and even just from participating
  • Players advance from Farm LeagueMinor LeagueMajor League
  • SR can decrease if you lose a tournament (it will be specified which tournaments carry this penalty)
  • It marks your skill level among other GGL Primes users

Why it matters: SR shows your path through the skill ladder in GGL Primes. At a threshold of SR you'll graduate from the “Farm” league to the “Minor” league.

How do I get "Drafted" into the Major League?

To be considered for the Major League (our professional gaming competition teams), you must be within the top 100 of GGL users by SR.

What are Global Points (GP)?
  • GP is earned through participation. Many tournaments reward you with a certain amount just for participating, and more can be earned by placing in a tournament.
  • GP is Global Gaming League's currency — you can use it to redeem rewards such as discounts on store items, flair for your profile, and extra prizing for a tournament when the option is available.
  • GP cannot be lost unless spent. It's your currency to spend how you please.
What can I use GP for?

GP is Primes' in-platform currency and can be used for:

  • Discounts on merch
  • Profile customization (flair, cosmetics, etc.)
  • Free tournament entry on select paid-to-enter tournaments
